Recently, the BMW Group’s annual supplier conference was held at its plant in Landshut, Munich, Germany. The BWI Group was nominated for the Supplier Innovation Award of the BMW Group for its technology of “rebound hydraulic stopper”, the core component of the shock absorber developed by the Krakow Technology Center in Poland.

The BMW Group has approximately 3,200 suppliers worldwide in more than 50 countries and regions. After several rounds of judging, 15 companies were nominated for the Supplier Innovation Award of the BMW Group. The BWI Group is the only supplier in the suspension business sector and the only Chinese supplier to be nominated.

The BWI Group has been the largest shock absorber supplier to the BMW Group for many years. At present, the technology of “rebound hydraulic stopper” has been widely used in many BMW global project platforms such as the BWI Group’s plants in Fangshan and Krasnobrod, Poland. The BWI Group has been highly praised by the BMW Group for its effort to improve the performance of shock absorbers, perfect product quality and enhance durability, fully demonstrating its development concept of “technology first” and its technical advantages and market competitiveness in the core components of automobile chassis.
