At the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Forum held on July 26, Shougang won the 2018 Innovation Case Award of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development. Shougang Group leaders, Zhang Gongyan and related department heads, attended the opening ceremony.

This Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Forum, themed “co-building, inclusive and sharing”, was hosted by People’s Daily to further discuss and exchange valuable experiences gained by the three places in terms of policy coordination, industrial cooperation, innovation and cooperation, etc. It is an important link for Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to stick to the problem orientation and focus on the hot spots of difficult problems, offering the advice for the three provinces and cities to promote the coordinated development, which provides intellectual services and public opinion support and thus becomes an important link for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

At the forum site entrance, Shougang Group’s Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei development achievements panel has received much attention. Shougang’s relocation adjustment, transformation and development are highly in line with the pulse of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development. In accordance with the requirements of the “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Planning Program”, Shougang, as a pioneer and model, promoted the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei with the model of “double parks”. Beijing’s old industrial zones accelerated the building of a new landmark for urban renewal and the completion, and entering of Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, Beijing workstation for overseas academicians and other office areas. IOC President Bach praised Shougang Park as a “stunning” example of urban planning. Shougang Caofeidian Park, with undertaking non-capital function as the core, vigorously promotes investment and has signed 45 industrial projects, with the total investment of about 51.7 billion yuan. Caofeidian New District’s passive housing was named by the Ministry of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction as the “Ten Green Science and Technology Demonstration Projects.”
