Release Time:2017-03-29 13:55:59

Recently, the Beijing Soly Technology Company Limited of the Shougang Mining Company successfully conducted a heavy load test of the first 65-ton locomotive and 10-section 20m3 tub of the Unmanned Underground Transportation Electric Locomotive Project at the copper mine in Pulang, Yunnan, after 48 hours of debugging day and night.

The technologies applied in this unmanned transport system reach the advanced level in China and hold the leading position in the same industry internationally. In the system, the 65-ton electric locomotive was jointly designed, developed and manufactured by the Beijing Soly Technology Company Limited and domestic manufacturers. It is the largest underground transport variable-frequency locomotive in China, and the extent of its tonnage is even rare internationally. The control software was independently developed by the Beijing Soly Technology Company Limited, and the adopted automation and network equipment is currently a high-end product. The 20m3 tub has the greatest tonnage among underground transportation systems in the world. During the production process by foreign manufacturers, the engineering and technical personnel of the Beijing Soly Technology Company Limited put forward advice for perfecting the design, which laid the foundation for the equipment to meet the climatic conditions of the plateau region.

Since the start of the Unmanned Underground Rail Transport System Project at the copper mine, all the staff of the Pulang Project Department have overcome such difficulties as altitude reaction, changeable and unaccustomed climate, etc., and carried out systematic planning, careful organization and careful construction to ensure quality. Over more than nine months of hard work, they finally ushered in the heavy load test success of the electric locomotive, completed the important progress of the project and accumulated experience for putting five electric locomotives into operation in the future.
