On August 18th, the four-day 2022 World Robot Conference kicked off at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center. As an exhibitor, Yaskawa Shougang Robot Co., Ltd. (YSR) unveiled its “Robot New Energy Battery Box Intelligent Production Line” to the audience and demonstrated and explained its technical achievements in new energy vehicle manufacturing, as well as the intelligence level of its robot system integration.

The rainy weather could not dampen the enthusiasm of the exhibitors. People of all ages and nationalities bustled through the 40,000 m2 exhibition hall. High-tech exhibits such as industrial robots, service robots and special robots deeply attracted the attention of the attendees.

Hu Ting, YSR Chief Engineer and Technology Center Director, told the reporter that the Robot New Energy Battery Box Intelligent Production Line integrates important robot-related technologies in the production process of NEVs battery boxes, such as 3D vision, force control, AMR, 5G and information technology, in order to create a technologically advanced intelligent production line. The exhibition was equipped with a production line management system and YCP robot networking platform which could realize production visualization, process traceability, robot status monitoring, health diagnosis and preventive maintenance.

Mr. Wu, an exhibitor, said cheerfully of his son in junior high school, “My son is extremely obsessed with robots, and he constantly learns about robots at home and abroad through the Internet. Today, he was shocked to see the robot exhibits in the YSR Exhibition Area. The explanations of the technicians gave him a deeper understanding of YSR’s robots and systems on display.”
