A report from “Beijing Daily” on January 18 announced the list of the 15th Beijing Excellent Units of Ideological and Political Work, and Shougang Jingtang was awarded with the honorary title of “Beijing Excellent Unit of Ideological and Political Work”.

The selection of Beijing excellent units of ideological and political work is a permanent project conducted by the Beijing Leadership Group Office for the “Double Excellent” Selection and Commendation of Ideological and Political Work according to work deployment by the Beijing Municipal Committee. Through bottom-up selection, recommendations, reviews, publicity and other procedures, a total of 98 units won this award.

As one of the awarded units, Shougang Jingtang has always insisted on making good use of “heirlooms” and protecting “lifelines” to lead its quality development with its high-quality ideological and political work. The company deepens its theoretical studies, strengthens political determination, carries forward the spirit of responsibility, and builds the “ballast stone” of ideals and belief. It insists on relying on staff to run the enterprise well, drawing a good “concentric circle” of mutual improvement between staff and enterprise, and enhancing the staff’s sense of gain and happiness. In recent years, Shougang Jingtang has been honored as a National Civilized Unit, the 12th Beijing Excellent Unit of Ideological and Political Work, and the Capital Civilized Unit Pacesetter.
