Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society jointly announced the list of winners of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Awards in 2023. The project "Research and Application of Mechanical Parking Equipment Technology for High-efficiency and Low-noise Bus Junction Stations" declared by Shougang City Transportation and its subsidiary Beijing Shoujia Steel Structure Co., Ltd. won the Third Prize Science and Technology Progress Award.

This achievement is applicable to the complete set of heavy-load parking equipment technologies for large public transport vehicles. It makes a fivefold breakthrough in terms of the maximum load of traditional parking equipment, while solving the problems of large-scale mechanical parking equipment and the parking demands of bus junction stations. The efficient intelligent bus dispatching management system solves problems including the low efficiency of manual dispatching and long departure interval during the morning and evening peak periods, realizes the automatic generation of departure task lists and one-button automatic parking and retrieval of vehicles, greatly liberates productivity and advances the development of transportation junction stations towards higher efficiency and intelligence. The achievements made by this complete set of mechanical parking equipment technologies for high-efficiency and low-noise bus junction stations have filled research gaps in the field of mechanical parking equipment and led to the formation of the industry standard General Technical Specifications for Parking Passenger Cars with Mechanical Parking Equipment.

In recent years, in order to better solve the urban parking problem, Shougang City Transportation has thoroughly implemented the new development concepts, persisted in technological innovation, continuously optimized various parking scene solutions, researched and developed three-dimensional parking products, and enhanced its market influence in the industry. In 2022, ranked among 75 "High-quality Brands in the Machinery Industry", Shougang City Transportation was recognized as a Specialized and Sophisticated Small and Medium-sized Enterprise, and named an "Application Demonstration Base of 100 Group Standard Application Demonstration Projects in 2020 (Commercial Machinery Parking Equipment of Vehicles)" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; in 2023, through certification as a "Beijing Municipal Enterprise Technology Center", its intelligent bus parking products were once again selected for inclusion in the list of new technologies and products (services) in Beijing.

The China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Awards are comprehensive science and technology awards in the machinery industry across China which are approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, jointly established by the China Machinery Industry Federation and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and registered with the National Science and Technology Award Department. They also constitute the main channel for machinery industry enterprises to apply for the National Science and Technology Progress Awards.
