Recently, in implementing the spirit of Shougang “two sessions”, the Hot Rolling Operation Department of Shougang Co., Ltd. continues to push forward the technological innovation and optimization of product structure, decompose goals and tasks, and formulate specific implementation plans to ensure the achievement of goals and tasks. The 2160 production line takes advantage of the favorable timing of double-burner production to boldly attempt product specification development. After a series of intense and orderly work, the 1.82 mm thick highly strong acid plate QS340 was successfully rolled. In order to enhance product development capabilities, production process technicians continue to invest in summarizing analytical data, solidifying rolling key parameters, and other follow-up specifications. Only two days later, the 2160 production line rolled the thickness of 1.77 mm and 1.62 mm successfully. When rolling the QS340 with a thickness of 1.55 mm, the slab rough rolling is of smooth steel, the finish rolling data is stable, and the coiling takes place smoothly, perfectly solving the problem that the width-to-thickness, rolling mill vibration and surface quality are affected mutually.

As the 2160 production line breaks through the good news that the rolling of the ultimate specification is successful, the 1580 production line is also in full swing to meet the specification rolling limit challenges. The production, technology, equipment, and grinding roller personnel carefully calculate, measure and arrange production organization, process conditions, model settings, equipment function accuracy and other points to ensure that standards are met before production. While the daily output of the thin high-strength automotive pickling structure exceeds 1,000 tons, and the 1.6 mm QS420-P and QS500-P and other extreme varieties are successfully rolled, the technical professionals and production personnel don’t stop moving forward, and have successfully achieved stable rolling of the finished product Q235B with a thickness of 1.1 mm. All the specifications such as plate shape, surface quality and temperature were good.
