    On September 14th, 2015, Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd and Tianwei Baobian established a high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel joint laboratory as an experimental research platform for facilities and resources sharing. Based on their technological advantages accumulated in respective industries, the two corporations will strengthen the industry chain collaboration of oriented silicon steel materials from development and production to transmission application, product design and manufacturing.

    In May last year, the application results of Shougang's high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel products and UHV transformer passed a professional review, and the experts believed that Shougang had become the world's fourth enterprise with its full-range low temperature technique industrialized,because it had independently developed the low temperature slab reheating technique for production of high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel, with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons of high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel products.
