Established in March 2006, Beijing Shougang Cultural Development Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shougang with registered capital of RMB 41.8 million. The Company is equipped with the Film & Television Production Department, Script Incubation Department, Creation Production Department, Business Department, Office, Financial Department and Shougang Museum Preparation Office.

The ‘13^th Five Year Plan’ of the Culture Company defines its business structure with the ‘script incubation industrial base’ as the foundation, the film & television industry as the core focused business, digital content as the extensive opportunity business and advertising and branding operations as the interactive development business, establishes the basic operating mode of ‘content + channel + circular appreciation of derivative’, initially completes the layout of film & television business, mobile game business and advertising and branding operation business, and steps into the core circle of the cultural industry to actively develop the business field.

In the film & television business, Realization, the Culture Company’s first drama to make transformation development and strike forward to the film & television industry, was released and successfully performed at the Beijing Tianqiao Theater, attracting more than 7,600 audience members. It received sufficient confirmation from relevant government departments and head office leaders, with further reporting made by CCTV, People’s Daily and more than 200 media and WeChat public numbers, forming great influence.

In the script incubation industrial baseline, for the platform, the Phase I and Phase II platform development scheme design were completed, and for the offline ‘+ factory’ coffee house, the crowd-funding salon symposium, Eagles Fund, incubated enterprise salons, start-up commune sodality, quadratic-element cartoon symposium, film viewing communication and other activities were held more than 20 times, forming a certain influence in society.

In the production of films and television, the historical old industry remains and modern industrial culture are further excavated. In 2016, the China Opera and Dance Drama Theatre, Beijing Film Academy, Hubei Radio & Television, Beijing Rock Partner Film Culture Co., Ltd., Shanghai Youhug Media Co., Ltd., Xiadao Culture Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen MANN Technology Co., Ltd., Wanda Media Co., Ltd., Tencent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and others were involved, amounting to more than 40 companies and 70 theater groups.

The Company’s advertising and branding operation business started from scratch. At present, it has developed a brand team which can come as soon as they are called, be able to fight as soon as they arrive and fight to win. It has raised customers’ prestige to gain the market in several project businesses, such as the electric vehicles and charging equipment exhibition, World Robot Conference in 2016, World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo, Beijing Static Traffic Research and Development Demonstration Base brand operation and external environment design, AGV exhibition hall design, decoration reconstruction and derivative design etc., which have been fully affirmed by the Shougang Group, so as to build up a new image of Culture Company.
