The Chinese Olympic Committee applied to the IOC through the Chinese Olympic Committee and decided to award this year’s ‘Olympiad in Action’ Cup to Shougang Group.”
The IOC has established its annual cup since 1985, with a different theme each year, so that the Olympic Committees may award organizations or individuals with outstanding contributions. The theme of the 2018 IOC Cup is “Olympiad in Action”, and it’s used to award organizations, individuals or projects that support sports in the aspects of promoting sports activities, enhancing development and sustainable development through sports, etc.
Shougang Group is the only unit recommended by the Chinese Olympic Committee to the IOC this year.
