Recently, the Beijing Youth Narrators exhibition "Narrator of the Times – Telling the Story of Beijing with Youth" was held at the Beijing Youth Palace. The Youth League Committee of Shougang Group Co., Ltd. won the "Excellent Organization Award", while Zhang Ya of Shoujiantou Investment Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd. won the title "Most Beautiful Young Narrator in Beijing".

With the theme "When the Motherland Calls, We are Young", Zhang Ya told the story of Shougang's young employees dedicating their youth to Beijing and the motherland with vivid examples. Before the competition, Zhang Ya collected a large amount of park relocation, video and TV media materials to learn about the past and present of Shougang, communicated with many veteran workers and masters to learn about their hard work stories, revised the manuscript more than ten times and kept practicing after work. With the encouragement and guidance of her professional mentor, she constantly improved and optimized the content of her speech, pronunciation and intonation, expression of movements and eyes, and stage positioning. She tirelessly practiced and trained every day, and finally stood out among more than 200 contestants to become the "Most Beautiful Young Narrator in Beijing".

During the event, the guests awarded honorary certificates, trophies and medals to the 20 winners of the title "Most Beautiful Young Narrator in Beijing" and the 10 units that won the "Excellent Organization Award", as well as awarding flags to the members of the newly established "Narrator of the Times" Beijing Young Narrator Volunteer Service Team. On October 8th, the Beijing News Channel's Good Morning Beijing broadcast the news of the establishment of the Beijing Young Narrator Volunteer Service Team, and Zhang Ya, a young Shougang employee, became one of the first volunteer service team members. As the first members of the "Narrator of the Times" Beijing Youth Narrator Volunteer Service Team, they will bring Beijing's stories into communities, enterprises, military camps, villages and media platforms so that more youths and more people will know and love Beijing, and work together to build the capital.

Co-sponsored by the China Communist Youth League Beijing Municipal Committee, Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau and Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau, the Beijing Youth Narrators exhibition "Narrator of the Times – Telling the Story of Beijing with Youth" aims to assist in the construction of a national cultural center, widely publicize Beijing's unique ancient capital culture, revolutionary culture, Beijing-style culture and innovation culture, and showcase the charm of the capital in the new era and the demeanor of young narrators.
