In 2022, GITANE made an important breakthrough in R&D and achievement transformation of new clean wire-drawing technology. The new fine wire-drawing technology with “water” instead of “oil” is greatly reducing the amount of hazardous waste oil sludge and the production cost; breakthroughs have been made in R&D of the new technology of thick wire drawing with “zero” dust, which has eliminated dust pollution at the source, fundamentally avoided cold-drawn cracks of high-performance thick wires, and improved the consistency of product performance. Meanwhile, the self-developed “Shougang Ganghua” high-quality electrothermal energy storage material Fe-Cr-Al alloy heating wire is applied in Zhangjiakou Mountain Press Centre and surrounding clean heating facilities of Beijing Winter Olympics, to help “Green Winter Olympics”.
