A few days ago, the office of the CIFTIS Executive Committee sent a thank you letter praising the Shougang Group for its high-standard and high-quality completion of the CIFTIS service guarantee task, and thanking Shougang cadres and workers for their positive contributions to the success of the 2021 CIFTIS.

In the thank you letter, the office of the CIFTIS Executive Committee wrote, “As the initiating unit of the venue construction and operation support team of the CIFTIS Executive Committee in 2021, your group has completed the high-quality planning, construction and transformation of exhibition venues, infrastructure, catering facilities, etc., and provided high-standard services for venue operation, ferry connections, vehicle parking and epidemic prevention and control. The personnel deployed by your group have been active and dedicated in different positions of the Executive Committee, and carried forward the Shougang Spirit of “being adventurous, perseverant and industrious” and “being responsible, innovative and pioneering”, which was fully recognized and highly praised by the related working teams of the Executive Committee, and made positive contributions to the success of the 2021 CIFTIS. Looking back over the journey, we feel extremely proud. This service guarantee task had a tight schedule, heavy workload and demanding standards. In February of this year, the Municipal Party Committee and Government clearly announced that Shougang Park would be one of the CIFTIS venues. Shougang started from scratch and completed a series of tasks such as site selection, venue design, construction and environment building in just seven months. Shougang resolutely implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee and Government, dedicated itself to the service guarantee task with the highest standards, strictest requests and most optimal conditions, raced against time and struggled with challenges. In the spirit of “rushing forward from the start and fighting a decisive battle”, Shougang grasped the duration and schedule, completed the site selection and finalized the design scheme by revising drafts several times in just over a month. In roughly 100 days, eight exhibition areas and 15 exhibition halls were built, 39 industrial sites were renovated and a green landscape of 250,000 m2 was created. During the six-day exhibition, Shougang Park undertook 143 forums and conferences, and received more than 1,800 guests and more than 53,000 visitors. Through the united efforts of cadres and workers, Shougang successfully completed the task and turned in a wonderful answer sheet, earning the wide recognition of people from all walks of life and the full affirmation of the Municipal Party Committee and Government. This successful service guarantee task fully demonstrates Shougang’s creation, speed, quality and service, highlighting the Shougang Spirit in the new era.
