Recently, following the review by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, SGAI obtained the “Beijing Municipal Enterprise Technology R&D Institution” qualification certificate.

This certificate affirms SGAI’s strengths and advantages of exploring independent innovation and model innovation in R&D, and creates good social credibility and policy advantages for SGAI’s scientific efforts. It is of great significance for SGAI in recruiting talents, accelerating the R&D of new technologies and products, and promoting the transformation of existing scientific and technological achievements. At the same time, it also broadens the application scope for SGAI to obtain more preferential policies and special funds from the government.

The Beijing Municipal Enterprise Technology R&D Institution qualification was established by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission according to the Opinions of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality on Strengthening the Dominant Role of Enterprises’ Technological Innovation to Comprehensively Improve Enterprises’ Innovation Ability and Beijing Municipality’s Implementation Measures for Encouraging Enterprises to Set Up Technology R&D Institutions. It aims to guide and encourage the construction of enterprise technology R&D institutions, strengthen the dominant role of enterprises’ technological innovation and give full play to the vital role of enterprise technology R&D institutions in serving enterprise innovation and supporting industrial development.
