Recently, the laboratory of the National Steel Inspection Center revealed that the yield strength and tensile strength of the HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel bar submitted by Shuigang reached the new standard requirements for hot-rolled ribbed steel bars and the requirements for production license declaration.

The HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel bar is a new standard for hot-rolled ribbed steel bars issued by the country in 2018, which has both a higher yield strength and tensile strength. In December 2019, Shuigang's sales staff learned that the Heliu Expressway and Zunyu Expressway will use HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel bars in 2020, and the Guizhou market has a demand for about 100,000 tons. The Manufacturing Management Department convened with the Steel Rolling Department and related engineering and technical personnel to discuss the HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel rolling process in January this year. According to the capacity of existing rolling mills, the engineering and technical personnel adjusted the rolling process without affecting normal production, and carried out trial rolling, which became successful in mid-February. Shuigang arranged personnel in a timely manner to send HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel bars with Φ12mm and Φ32mm specifications to the National Steel Inspection Center, and the products were fully qualified after inspection.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Process Technology (Product Development) Office of the Manufacturing Management Department of Shuigang, after the HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel production license was processed, Shuigang would continue to roll HRB500 hot-rolled ribbed steel according to market demand and increase the rolling of HRB600 hot-rolled ribbed steel bars to meet market demand.
