A few days ago, at the commendation meeting of “2019 Beijing Emergency Management Models”, Shougang Co., Ltd. Zhixin Electromagnetic Operation Zone 2 was appraised as the “Model Collective of Beijing Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post” and recommended as the collective of “2019 National Youth Post.” The steelmaking fitter team of the Equipment Management Room of the Steelmaking Operation Department and the sequenced detection team of hot rolling electrical automation of the Equipment Management Room 2 of Hot Rolling Operation Department of Shougang Co., Ltd. were also awarded the title “Beijing Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post”.

The setup activity by the Beijing Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post is a collective competition for the company’s first-line production workshops, teams, and other grass-roots units, with young members spearheading it and in line with the theme of safety production, jointly organized by the Beijing Emergency Management Bureau, the Committee Office of Capital Spiritual Civilization Construction, and the Beijing Committee of the Communist Youth Leagues. It saw a total of 286 collectives enrolments and a total of 175 units selected as on-site reviewers. After 8 months of preliminary assessment, reassessment, live assessment of the debate, and media, the three participating collectives of Shougang Co., Ltd. stood out and were commended.

In recent years, the Communist Youth League Committee of Shougang Co., Ltd. focused on the actual safety production of the company. With the “Qing’an Cup” competition as a carrier, it strengthened young workers’ safety education, improved young workers’ safety skills, and innovated the forms of youths’ safety activities, so it was awarded the title of Advanced Collective of “Qing’an Cup” Competition for National Steel Industry for 3 continuous years. Furthermore, it also played an active role and achieved good results when leading the majority of young workers to participate in the safety production management and put safety production into practice and during the company’s safety production work.
