“Joint Research Center of Advanced Electromagnetic Materials and Motor Technology” Jointly Established by Shougang Zhixin Electromagnetic and Beijing

Recently, Shougang Zhixin Qian'an Electromagnetic Materials Co., Ltd. and the School of Automation of Beijing Institute of Technology have launched the jointly established Joint Research Center of Advanced Electromagnetic Materials and Motor Technology in Beijing Institute of Technology. Leaders of Shougang Co., Ltd., Shougang Zhixin Electromagnetic and the School of Automation of Beijing Institute of Technology attended the launch. Both parties signed relevant cooperation agreements on site.

Shougang Zhixin Electromagnetic has been insistent to serve the national strategy, to keep up with the times and social pace, always focusing on technical progress and product upgrading of electrical steel, to accelerate the development of new material industry, to emphasize on the research and development of cutting-edge electrical steel products in the fields of new energy vehicles, UAVs, precision servo drive, special motors, etc., and has seen fruitful results. Five series of special product systems have been established, three products were launched in the world, and several ultra-thin high-performance high-end products were developed in the field of electrical steel for UAVs and special motors.

The School of Automation of Beijing Institute of Technology and its industrial base have a solid scientific research foundation in the fields of high-precision servo motor drive system, special aerospace motor design and manufacturing, auxiliary motor of new energy vehicles, drive motor and control of new energy vehicles, UAV platform drive system, etc. Previously, the duo cooperated in successfully applying two kinds of Shougang high-performance thin electrical steel materials to aerospace, UAV drive, and high-precision servo motor drive system.

On the basis of good cooperation, the duo uphold the principles of sincere cooperation, mutual benefit, and mutual assistance, to nurture combined talents and to improve the core products competitiveness, to leverage on cooperative and technical advantages of the enterprise and the university, to rely on existing experimental equipment and conditions related to mutual electric steel and electric machinery in working, and to ride on the performance research and advantages of motor simulation analysis and design research, joint development and research of electrical steel and its application technology in new energy vehicle motor, special motor and other fields, in order to master the core technology in their respective fields and to develop the joint research center into a model for future collaborations between universities and enterprises.
