Jingtang Company’s First Unbundling Robot Was Put into Operation

Recently, Jingtang Company’s first unbundling robot in the cold rolling department 2230 annealing production line was officially put into use, one month ahead of schedule completed.

Jingtang Company actively conforms to the trend of development of the times and takes many measures to promote the deep integration of information technology and manufacturing technology to promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises and leapfrogging development. The robot automatic unbundling system is a robot intelligent system integrating robot, artificial intelligence, machinery, control, intelligent sensing and network communication technology by using high-precision laser ranging sensors to automatically identify the leading direction. According to the position of the belt, it can automatically complete the belt lifting, cutting action, automatic winding and collecting of the cut waste band and transfer to the collecting bucket through the transport belt. The whole process of disassembly and assembly is compact, and the success rate is high.

The unbundling robot in the cold rolling department 2230 annealing production line is an important project for Jingtang Company to build intelligent annealing production line, so it attaches great importance to the implementation of this system and combines with Shougang Automation Information Technology Co., Ltd. in technical research and development, on-site construction, equipment commissioning and other aspects of the work. During this period, the Cold Rolling Operations Department organizes special meetings for technical details and tender negotiations, and puts forward specific requirements. From equipment bidding, procurement to site construction, equipment commissioning, technical personnel and suppliers and assistance with units in close contact and cooperation, the persons concerned closely monitored the progress of the project and completed the daily work with high quality. In the stage of installation and commissioning of equipment, in order to avoid the influence of on-line construction on normal production and product quality, strict dustproof measures and cleaner production work are carried out by production line personnel to ensure the smooth progress of the project. In order to shorten the duration of the project and promote the project to be put into use as soon as possible, they made use of all available space to make use of the time of equipment maintenance for system debugging. In less than 3 months’ time, the automatic program debugging is completed through the system optimization, data collection and solidification parameters by on-line connection test equipment, so as to ensure that the unbundling robot can be completed ahead of time.

After a short period of five months, the robot, which is specially used in the work of steel coil unbundling work, has finally been put on line successfully. After testing, the problem of repeated single work of workers and staff has been solved, the safety factor of work has been improved with the production cost being effectively reduced.
