Recently, Scott Arnold, the Competition and Development Officer of the World Curling Federation, and Lei Yi, the Deputy Director of the Curling Department of the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, came to Shougang to pay a field visit and inspect the construction of the Curling Training Hall in the Winter Training Center.

Scott Arnold learned details of the on-site facilities, ice making and other conditions of the Curling Training Hall, and praised that the renovated curling training hall was very great.

Later, the leaders came to the athletes, the coach lounge, the medical room and other areas for inspection. Lei Yi said: “There is currently no such curling venue in the country that can be opened to the public in the later period. Shougang has made great contributions to the snow and ice movement.”
