At present, Shougang automobile plate has leapt to the second place in China, with products covering 1,000Mpa and continuous annealing of the below levels, galvanized sheet and 1,500Mpa-level hot forming steel. With high-end automobile BIW supply capacity, it has established cooperative relations with more than 50 mainframe factories and parts suppliers at home and abroad, covering Japanese series, German series, American series, French series, Korean series, Italian series, domestic self-owned brands and others. Up to now, the accumulative supply volume of Shougang automobile plates has exceeded 1.5 million tons.

●Become the largest domestic supplier of the world’s top automobile company BMW

Since it began to supply goods to Brilliance BMW in 2013, the average annual increase in supply of Shougang has exceeded 25%, making it China's largest domestic supplier and the world's second largest supplier. Among them, the proportion of body panels that represent the top products of automotive panels is as high as 38%, ranking first in all suppliers worldwide.

●Get a high recognition from domestic leading automobile enterprises with independent brands

Shougang became the second largest supplier of Geely in 2017, realizing the full supply of all steel products below 800MPa level. In order to meet the processing demand of Geely, Shougang sets up a blanking line in Zhejiang to solve the problem of insufficient processing resources faced by Geely’s high-speed development; provides Geely with pre-intervention services, and comprehensive technical support, and provides in-factory services 24 hours a day and promises to handle quality problems in the factory. The Great Wall Motors is one of the first enterprises to provide certification opportunities for Shougang. After several years of cooperation, the market share of the Great Wall Motors automobile plates supplied by Shougang has exceeded 30%, becoming the strategic partner and core supplier of the Great Wall Motors.

Shougang has continuously improved the quality and service capabilities of its products and won high recognition from users, especially leading Geely and the Great Wall Motors with self-owned brands. Shougang won the “Best Cooperation Award” at 2018 Geely Auto’s Supplier Conference, and won the “Technical Cooperation Award” of the Great Wall Motors in 2017.

●Become one of the few suppliers of ultra-high strength automobile plates in the world

The main development direction of automobile industry is to make the vehicle body structure light and highly-strengthened, reduce energy consumption and emissions and improve the safety of occupants. The industrial trial production of highly-strengthened cold rolled automobile plate DP1180, which represents the high level of R & D and manufacturing, indicates that Shougang’s ultra-high strength automobile plate products have entered the kilo-mega level camp, and Shougang has become one of the few suppliers of ultra-high strength automobile plate in the world at present.
