Recently, the final of the Sixth “Beiqi Cup” Beijing Youth Source Innovation Competition ended. “Technology Integration of Energy and Resources Efficient Utilization with Seawater Desalination as Carrier” and the “Research and Application of Ultra-low Nitrogen Combustion Technology for 300MW Coal-Gas Mixed Fired Boiler”, two projects of the Department of Energy Management and Environmental Protection of Shougang Jingtang Company, won a gold prize and a bronze prize respectively in the competition.

It is reported that the Beijing Youth Source Innovation Competition was sponsored by the BCYL and Committee of the Communist Youth League Beijing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Since its official launch in December last year, 22 bureaus and head offices from different industries have submitted 177 high-quality entries, covering smart manufacturing, new energy, new materials, biomedicine, electronic communications, and architectural design. After the preliminary match and rematch, finally 20 works stood out to advance to the final. The final was held in the form of road show. The final judges included experts and scholars from relevant research institutes such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and Beijing Institute of Technology, as well as professional investors in technology project investment agencies. Two participants from the Department of Energy Management and Environmental Protection of Shougang Jingtang Company topped in the road show logic, PPT production, speech skills and other aspects, and achieved good results.

It is understood that a total of 2 gold prizes, 6 silver prizes and 12 bronze prizes were selected in the competition.
