In the past few days, the Youth League Committee of Shougang Institute of Technology actively responded to the call of the Municipal Party Committee and the Youth League Committee of Shougang Group to carry out the reception of the clothes for donation.

This activity is different from the past. Each piece of donated clothing was strictly checked by professional volunteers and passed before reaching the standard, and has an identification code, and the donor can supervise the specific conditions and whereabouts of the clothes. The volunteers of the Life Department of the Students’ Union, the Youth League Committee, the Young Volunteers Association and the Social Practice Department of Shougang Institute of Technology undertook the work of sorting, packing and uploading more than 1,600 pieces of clothing donated by Shougang Group and its subsidiaries. The clothes for donation will be donated to the people in poor areas by the Municipal Party Committee. Since then, tens of thousands of Beijing university college student volunteers will serve as caring ambassadors, bringing their clothes back to their hometowns, to the hands of those who need it most, so that positive energy batons will be passed on.
