The innovation studios for national model workers and talented craftsmen are important platforms for in-depth development of mass technical innovation activities, and effective carriers for demonstrating the leading role of model workers and talented craftsmen and inspiring the employees’ vitality to innovate and create. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions has named a total of 100 “Innovation Studios for National Model Workers and Talented Craftsmen”, this year, and 4 of them were of Beijing.

Shougang’s trade union organizations at all levels attach great importance to the construction of staff innovation studios, and have created a total of 264 staff innovation studios, including 12 staff innovation studios at or above the municipal level. They have organized 6,514 research projects, applied for 498 patents, and obtained 15 national scientific and technological achievements, 19 scientific and technological achievements in Beijing and 165 Shougang scientific and technological achievements, creating direct economic benefits equivalent to 1239.74 million yuan.
