Reviewed by Beijing new and high-tech enterprise identification organization, and put on record by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shougang International Engineering Company’s new and high-tech enterprise has passed the re-identification, and has recently obtained the “new and high-tech enterprise certificate” jointly issued by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance, Beijing Municipal State Taxation Bureau and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Local Taxation.

In mid–April, 2017, Beijing issued the notification of the work related to the identification management of new high-tech enterprises in 2017. Relevant departments of the international engineering company carried out application work in accordance with the requirements of the notification. The whole application work lasted for several months and completed more than a thousand pages of application materials. After careful and hard work, the company successfully passed the re-identification, and obtained a new and high-tech enterprise certificate in early 2018.

The qualification certificate of new high-tech enterprise is valid for 3 years, and the re-identification requires the evaluation of performance of scientific and technological innovation in the recent 3 years. The Department of Science and Technology Quality of the international engineering company interpreted the policy document and clarified the thinking, and carried out scientific and technological activities such as intellectual property rights, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, research and development organizations, so to comprehensively support the evaluation index of the enterprise’s innovation ability. To strengthen the management of intellectual property rights requires various business departments to compile year-round patent application plans and do a good job of patent layout; in the paper of responsibility for the project, it is necessary to strengthen the index of patent examination, and further improve the output of patent achievements. It is also important to strengthen the management of scientific and technological development projects, and carry out project establishment in two batches each year. In the last three years, 211 projects have been established; we shall also actively guide the research group to establish projects in combination with the difficulties of engineering technology, and continuously improve the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements; strengthen the management of project inspection, carry out quarterly project feedback, and conduct centralized inspection twice a year; through the construction of all kinds of municipal scientific and technological innovation platforms, widely carry out innovative activities which combine “production, learning, research and use”, mobilize internal resources, integrate social resources, and improve the level and effect of organization and management of scientific research and development.

Passing the re-identification of new and high-tech enterprises fully demonstrates the power of scientific and technological innovation and the comprehensive strength of production and operation management of the international engineering company.
