A woman making breakthrough in hot-rolled production, being responsible and strict with herself

Xu Fang: the engineer of the Technical Room of the Hot-rolled Operation Department of Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. In 2008, she chose Shougang, worked in Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and identified the coordinates of life. During the promotion of the new ultra-fast cooling project on the 2,250-millimeter production line, she, although being pregnant, moved to the front area of the factory to facilitate the work. Overcoming the difficulties such as physical discomfort and always adhering to the production line, she has successfully developed the “high pressure + red” automatic control technology to ensure the precise control of “low elasticity, high temperature coiling” technology. In 2017, she led the team to complete the task of “improving the rolling cadence” and producing steel in two furnaces simultaneously, creating a new level of 700 blocks on two production lines in two days and promoting the double enhancement of production capacity and efficiency.

Wang Yong: the monitor of the fourth squad of No. 1 converter of the steel plant of the first steel rolling mill of Tonggang Group. He responded to the call of “keeping survival and striving for development” of the Group and leds the team to tap the potential. He summed up the “slag operation of the converter with hot metal containing low silicon”, generating an annual yield of 3.64 million yuan; he implemented the “straight steel billet temperature operation”, bringing in an annual revenue of 1.51 million; he optimized “the operation of the low-oxygen steel tapping at the end and tapping process without deoxidizer”, creating an annual yield of 2.84 million yuan; he refreshed the narrow range control of molten steel composition and the passing rate of high-carbon index, being listed in the advanced domestic level; he implemented splashing slag protection technology, increasing furnace age from 1,000 furnaces to 20,000 furnaces to achieve a new leap forward Tonggang steel.

Luo Gang: the civil engineer of the Engineering Construction Department of Shougang Construction Investment Co., Ltd. He has taken industrial rejuvenation as his own responsibility and adhered to the first line of construction. In over 1,000 days and nights from 2014 to now, he went to the scene, organized regular meetings and dispatched construction to solve thousands of construction problems such as industrial remains and innovative design convergence, multi-unit multi-point operation. He has completed the workspace, supporting area and regional landscape of the Organizing Committee of the Winter Olympics, providing solid evidence for the planning and construction of Shougang Park in Beijing to win the “2017 Green Building Pioneer Award” and the “2017 China Habitat Environment Model Award” and being highly acclaimed by Mahesh Ramanujam, IOC President Bach and USGBC CEO.

Ma Aihong: the audit manager of the Audit Department of Shougang Group. Facing heavy tasks, she works hard as a management craftsman. During the project audits of various units, she checks accounts, reads drawings and verifies contracts carefully. She dares to be serious. Once she finds something doubtful, she won’t ignore it but will check it thoroughly. Overcoming the pain, she checks the kind, goes to the scene and climbs the ladder. She has successively organized and participated in the audit of 47 construction projects, including the first cold rolling section of Qian’an Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., the cold rolling public auxiliary of Qian’an Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., high-pressure roller mill of mining pellet, 800,000 tons of pellets of Yili Iron and Steel Group and 850mm medium-wide strip project, involving in a reporting amount of 7.944 billion yuan and a submitting reduction amount of 38.51 million yuan, making positive contribution to strengthening the Group’s control and prevention and control of project risks.
