As of 6am on December 26, 2017, the annual generating capacity of Shougang Co., Ltd. has exceeded 2.4 billion kWh--another historic breakthrough following its completion of the task of generating 2.268 billion kWh of electricity annually 37 days ahead on November 24.

The energy department of Shougang Co., Ltd. adheres to the production guideline of “being safe, stabile, economical and environmentally-friendly, united and highly efficient, and coordinated”, implements “the centralized and consistent management” and the classified management of equipment defects, promotes the big type of work system, optimizes the labor organization mode, so as to improve the work efficiency. At the same time, it calls on all the workers to work hard and gather strength to narrow the gap, figure out measures and overcome difficulties for the purpose of completing the production organization, strengthening equipment maintenance, optimizing the operation mode of units, strengthening energy balance control and improving secondary energy recovery capability, thus approaching the full-year target steadily.

The company’s energy department closely tracks and forecasts changes in the main process production and coke oven gas, makes dynamic adjustments to the gas balance and the start and stop of all generator units and gives priority to electricity generation of high-efficiency units at full capacity to ensure that more electricity is generated; furthermore, it makes full use of the gap of steel fuel gas maintenance to repair all generator units and completes starting up in advance in the premise of ensuring the quality of the maintenance; additionally, the Company actively coordinates production line, vigorously carries out energy-saving reform, optimizes energy use and maximizes the recovery of available energy; it also sums up past experience, further increases the coordination of energy media in the heating period, focuses on changes in load, adheres to diligent, careful and fine tuning, maximizes the generation in the case of ensuring the steady production of the main process and goes all out to achieve 2.4 billion kWh of generating capacity. From July 2 to 6, the daily generating capacity has exceeded 8 million kWh in succession, with the highest daily generation up to 8.16 million kWh.
