On December 22, the Summary and Commendation Conference of Shougang 2017 Competition of Vocational Skills and the Mobilization Assembly of the Ninth CISA “Shougang Cup” Skill Competition was held at Shougang Training Center to commend the advanced individuals standing out in the 2017 competition of vocational skills.

The conference summed up the 2017 competition of vocational skills and announced that Shougang Mining Corporation Qin Tao Skill Master Studio was titled national skill master studio, and Hu Xiongguang, the leader of the Group, awarded Qin Tao; Then, the television feature film was played, which had been produced by the Talent Development Institute and Shougang Press Center; the relevant person in charge of the Human Resources Department of the Group read out the “Decision of Shougang Group Co., Ltd. on Commending the Technical Experts, Outstanding Organizational Units, Coaches and the Staff of 2017 Competition of Professional Skills”; the leaders of the Group present awarded the representatives of “Shougang technical experts”, “Shougang young innovation pioneers”, “outstanding coaches”, “outstanding staff” and “outstanding organizational units”; Liu Hong, representative of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and Shougang technical expert, shared his ideas on the spirit of the 19th National Congress and the cultivation of craftsmanship spirit and highly skilled personnel based on reality; Lin Guixian, winner of the blast furnace ironworker from the joint-stock company and Liu Xin, winner of the electrician welder from Shouqin Company made excellent speeches sharing their experiences as typical characters respectively; the joint-stock company as well as main organizer of “Shougang Cup” competition delivered a speech on organizing the 2018 “Shougang Cup” National Competition of Vocational Skills in the Iron and Steel Industry.

Hu Xiongguang, on behalf of the Group, fully affirmed the achievements made in the 2017 Competition of Vocational Skills. At the same time, he expressed his hope and request for the future development of the competition of vocational skills and the 2018 “Shougang Cup” Competition of Vocational Skills in the Iron and Steel Industry, which could be summarized as the following five points:1) to fully understand the important role of highly skilled personnel in promoting the development of the enterprise; 2) vigorously promote the excellence of the “craftsmanship spirit”; 3) to further improve the long-term working mechanism for the team-building of highly skilled personnel; 4) to continuously to play the important role of the competition of vocational skills in the training of highly skilled personnel ; 5) to draw on the experience of the competition, and do a good job in the 2018 “Shougang Cup” Ninth National Competition of Vocational Skills in the Iron and Steel Industry.
