Three Key Technologies of Construction Methods of Shougang Construction Group Pass the Identification of China Metallurgical Construction Association

On July 28, 2017, the Appraisal Meeting of Key Technologies of Construction Methods of the China Metallurgical Construction Association was held for the Shougang Construction Group. During the appraisal meeting, experts and scholars from the Technology Quality Department and the Technology and Standard Professional Committee of China Metallurgical Construction Association listened to the reports of Shougang Construction Group on key technologies of construction methods and reviewed the relevant identification data in detail; after response, review, discussion and other rounds, the experts agreed that: “The Construction Technology of Subsection Reserve in Complex Buildings”, “The Installation Construction Technology of Precast Cladding Panels of High-Rise Steel Structure Residences”, and “The Green Construction Technology of Concrete Chimney Demolition Under Special Circumstances” submitted by Shougang Construction Group, were of complete identification data as well as detailed and reliable data, and conformed to the requirements of the appraisal. With straightforward technical operation and remarkable economic benefit, the three key technologies have reached the leading domestic level.

“The Installation Construction Technology of Precast Cladding Panels of High-Rise Steel Structure Residences,” passed in the appraisal meeting, is mainly used in high-rise steel structure residences and solves air tightness and water tightness between precast cladding panels and steel frame columns; “The Construction Technology of Subsection Reserve in Complex Buildings” has been successfully applied to large commercial complexes like Yongtai Community in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It solves the problems of the earthwork and concrete pouring in a very small place, the transport of materials in blind areas of the tower crane, major stress on transport caused by the lack of an on-site ring road; at the same time, it shortens the construction period, reduces construction cost, ensures high quality and safety of engineering and achieves great economic and social benefits. “The Green Construction Technology of Concrete Chimney Demolition Under Special Circumstances” has been successfully applied to the demolition of hundred-meter chimneys. An adjustable manual demolition operation platform is installed on the top of the chimney that is to be demolished, to synchronize the demolition and operation, thus saving cost by 15% to 25% compared to scaffolding demolition, shortening the construction period and reducing cost. It solves the problem of manually demolishing concrete chimneys with a very broad diameter high above the ground under special circumstances, ensures high quality and safety of engineering, shortening the construction period and achieving great economic and social benefits.

During the Appraisal Meeting of Key Technologies of Construction Methods of China Metallurgical Construction Association, the experts highly affirmed the steep increase in the overall level of technological innovation of Shougang Construction Group in recent years and pointed out to Shougang Construction Group what needed to be improved on and worked towards. The appraisal meeting is a major activity of science and technology to review and evaluate key technologies of construction methods developed by Shougang Construction Group. It effectively promotes the development and application of the enterprise’s engineering construction method, promotes improvement of achievements in key technologies of construction methods, increases the content of science and technology, intensifies efforts on the enterprise’s technology innovation and technology accumulation and effectively improves the enterprise’s management level of construction technology.
