From this year forward, Shougang Resource Company under Shougang Environment Company will seriously implement the deployment of the “two sessions” of Shougang Group and increase the intensity of market development. As of late June, 209,000 tons of construction waste have been processed, which is equivalent to the annual processing capacity in 2016. The six-month plan is over-fulfilled. Recycled products are successively applied to dozens of projects.

After more than a year of market and business development, Shougang Resource Company has been gaining customers and winning public praise constantly for its recycled products, changing the notion, that some customers in the industry have, that recycled material is inferior to new material. Market awareness is improving, as business volume shows a trend of rapid growth and more than 50 new customers have developed in succession. In just over 20 days, from May 20th to June 16th, more than 34,000 tons of recycled products were sold, accounting for 10% of the annual plan.

Combined with high water absorption and low intensity of recycled tile products with many fine pores, brick-concrete-structured recycled inorganic material application technology is developed with the Design Technology Center of Shougang Environment Company. Mechanical and durable properties meet the application requirements. The inspection result of Beijing Municipal Engineering Research Institute shows that it conforms to the regulatory requirements. In the research topic of Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, it supplied an inorganic mix to overhaul Guba Road in the Fangshan District. In the overhaul of Guba Road in Fangshan District, inorganic material, recycled from tile construction waste, was applied to the subbase, while the concrete one was applied to the base. As of June 12th, over 3,900 tons of recycled inorganic materials of Shougang Group have been used in the project in two batches.

After the completion of the project of Guba Road, Shougang Resource Company carefully organized raw material structure, quality inspection, equipment maintenance, production operation, transportation security and other aspects and received a number of contract orders of key projects under construction. It signed a contract with Beijing No. 4 Municipal Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. to provide a total of 106,000 tons of materials for the project of Dongsi Road in Zhangyi Village and the green space project of Southern Gucheng Road successively, a contract with China Huaye Group Company Limited to provide 37,000 tons of materials for the Liuniangfu project, and a contract with Beijing Yicheng Municipal Engineering Co., Ltd. to provide 5,000 tons of materials for the southern section of the fourth phase of Grasse Town in Tongzhou District.

At the same time, Shougang Resource Company has signed long-term cooperation agreements with eight units like Yadong Concrete Co., Ltd. under Beijing Urban Construction Group, the mixing station of the branch of Beijing Construction Engineering Group, Guyun Company, Beijing University of Technology, Jingtie Locomotive Concrete Co., Ltd. The market for all kinds of recycled products show an unprecedentedly rapid growth trend.

In the second half of the year, Shougang Resource Company will seriously implement the deployment requirements of the “two sessions” and the enlarged meeting of the party committee and the analysis meeting of economic activities in the first half of Shougang Group, strengthen problem and account awareness, continue to strengthen the foundation of industrial development and expand the market to ensure that various management and production targets for the whole year can be completed on schedule and new contributions can be made to the goal of being an urban comprehensive service provider.
