Recently, 11 iron and steel enterprises were listed as first-grade enterprises of safety production standardization in the metallurgical industry by State Administration of Work Safety. The Ironmaking Operation Department, the Steelmaking Operation Department, the Hot Rolling Operation Department, the Silicon Steel Business Department and the Dynamic Operation Department of Shougang Qian’an Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. are included.

According to “Administrative Measures for the Appraisal and Examination of Enterprise Safety Production Standardization” (for Trial Implementation) issued by State Administration of Work Safety, the enterprise safety production standardization standard grades are classified into primary, secondary and tertiary, primary being the highest grade. The list of the first-grade enterprises of safety production standardization is announced by State Administration of Work Safety, and the certificate and signboard are issued by the evaluation organization it chose with a period of validity of three years. Additionally, enterprises who wish to apply for the safety production standardization review should be in a leading position in the industry. Generally, the range should be controlled within 1% of the total enterprises in the industry.
