On May 11^th, co-built by Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Hitachi Household Appliances Co., Ltd., the joint laboratory of electrical steel application technology was unveiled.

This is the first joint laboratory of application technology for non-oriented electrical steel products established by Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd., which will focus on building the industrial chain collaboration platform for information communication, technology sharing and product innovation, promoting the development of non-oriented electrical steel and compressor technology and realizing win-win cooperation.

Shanghai Hitachi Household Appliances Co., Ltd., a leading company in compressor industry, takes a leading share in the global market with the customer network covering well-known domestic and foreign household electrical appliance enterprises. In 2012, Shanghai Hitachi Household Appliances Co., Ltd. began to use silicon steel products of Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd. in batches. Good cooperation has been forged within a few years. Currently, Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd. has covered all series and scales of non-oriented silicon steel products. The biggest domestic market share plus the status of the most important non-oriented silicon steel production base in the world, winning wider and closer cooperation for both sides in the future.

Both sides exchanged views on issues of common concern. The leaders of Shanghai Hitachi Household Appliances Co., Ltd. also visited the production line of high grade non-oriented silicon steel and spoke highly of the innovation capabilities, spot management and product research and development of the company.
