Nanning is a provincial capital with numerous rivers in south China. A large amount of municipal sewage and black and odorous water body are produced every day. The sewage is smelly and of complicated chemical components, which seriously pollutes the rivers and underground water.

Since November, 2016, the administrators of Nanning started to use the magnetic separation equipment developed by Beijing Shougang Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. to treat the black and odorous water body at the speed of 15,000m³ per day. The effect was obvious. The treated water is clear and reaches the level 4 of water quality standard, which greatly improves the urban landscape.

The sewage treatment products designed and developed by Beijing Shougang Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. include three types (magnetic separation type, flocculation type and membrane filter type) of integrated black and odorous water body treatment products and the plate-frame type steel pressure filter, pore plate grille, rainstorm grille and MBR for treatment of municipal sewage. These products have been successfully promoted and applied in the sewage treatment plant in Beijing, Hubei, Guangxi and Shenzhen.

While developing the environment-friendly energy equipment and facilities, Beijing Shougang Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. also actively expands its product chain and develops composting heap turner and thrower for treatment of sewage, sludge and compost on pasture. The slot type environment-friendly composting equipment of the Company has been applied to several pasture projects in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang. In addition, the composting heap turner of the Company has been successfully sold to Malaysia.
