The “September 15” series of activities of the 7th China Dance Festival was held near Xiuchi Lake in Shougang Beijing Park and the bridge in the West Extension Line on Chang’an Avenue. Dozens of teams from all over the country competed on the same stage, including the people’s healthy dance, ballroom dancing, environmental dance, street dance and other popular dance forms. Among them, the Chinese Dancers Association’s environmental dance, which was created with Shougang Park’s industrial characteristics, was eye-catching. By the Shougang Xiuchi Lake, the tall and majestic industrial heritage and the green hills and cypress of Shijingshan intermingled in the water ripples. The dancers used their bodies as vectors. With simple light, lines and shadows as elements, through the combination of elements and the interaction and feelings of the bodies, it interacted with the industrial remains and green hills and blue waters, forming a dialogue between the bodies and nature, time and space, and demonstrating the aesthetic feelings of power and beauty, and rigidity and softness. The centennial Shougang Industrial Park and the dance art were combined.

The Chinese Dance Festival is a permanent large-scale dance art exchange approved by the Central Publicity Department and sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chinese Dancers Association. It has been successfully held six times since 2002.
