Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued a notice praising Zhang Baiqi from Shougang Technician College, who has made outstanding contributions to the cultivation of national skilled personnel.

Zhang Baiqi is currently Vice President of the Shougang Talent Development Institute. Since he started to work in 1982, he has been engaged in the training and cultivation of high-skilled talent in Shougang with full enthusiasm and persistent spirit, and has actively implemented national high-skilled personnel training and development strategies. He has many times won the titles of “Shougang Model Communist”, “Shougang Advanced Educator”, and “Outstanding Educator of Vocational Skills in Beijing”; and was named “Excellent Enterprise Trainer” by China Workers’ Education and Vocational Training Association; won the “National Outstanding Personage Award of the Year in Metallurgical Education System”, etc.

It is reported that the selection was recommended by the departments of human resources and social security in various provinces (autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government), relevant departments of the State Council, trade associations, and central enterprises, and was strictly evaluated by experts. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has awarded a total of 30 comrades the honorary title of the “China Skills Award” and 300 comrades the honorary title of the “National Technical Talent”. At the same time, it also issued a notice to praise 67 units and 76 individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the cultivation of national skilled personnel.
