Recently, the first grate-rotary kiln pellet flue gas system built by China Shougang International Trade & En gineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CSGI) has been in standard operation in the project of pellet I series flue gas denitrification of Mining Corporation of S hougang Group Co., Ltd.

This year, the State has successively issued a series of documents, such as the “Announcement on the Implementation of Special Emission Limits for Atmospheric Pollutants by Cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Air Pollution Transmission Channel”, the “Work Plan for the Transformation of Ultra-low Emissions from Iron and Steel Enterprises” (draft for soliciting opinions) to impose more stringent restrictions on the emission limits of flue gas from sintering machine, pellet roasting flue gas, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide.

CSGI practices the concept of green development, keeps up with the trend of the times, and carries out technology research and development and market development in the field of comprehensive control of sintered pellet smoke. On the basis of sintering and pelletizing traditional advantage technology, CSGI develops and integrates technology according to the present situation of production, forming the SCR denitrification process of medium-low temperature catalyst, and applies it to the project of pellet I series flue gas denitrification transformation of Shougang Mining Corporation. This is the first grate-rotary kiln pellet flue gas system built in Shougang Group and even the whole country. The project was implemented by the Energy and Environment Branch of CSGI under the EPC model. On May 11, the project was fully opened for design, equipment procurement and construction preparations. On May 28, constructors were organized into the site, and foundation construction began on June 12. On September 29, the main denitrification draught fan was successfully started, and the whole line of the system was connected. In only 109 days, they completed the installation of all the equipment, overcoming the adverse factors like narrow construction area, many old underground foundations and poor geological conditions. Through the adjustment of deployment, careful planning and day-and-night work, with the strong support of Shougang Mining Corporation, in the joint efforts of all the parties involved, the agreed standard discharge date was achieved in advance. According to the current operating data, the hourly average of nitrogen oxide emission concentration in the treated flue gas is less than 10mg/Nm3 (16% of the standard oxygen content), and the denitrification efficiency is over 95%, which meets the requirements of the standards of the State and Hebei Environmental Protection Department. Meanwhile, the ultra-low emission is realized, which reflects the application value of SCR denitrification technology of medium and low temperature catalyst.

At present, the Energy and Environment Branch of CSGI has the capability of flue gas desulphurization and denitrification including desulphurization technology.

In the face of the new development environment, the Energy and Environment Branch will accelerate the integration of resources, tap the potential horizontally in the fields of energy saving and transformation, water treatment and solid waste treatment, and increase the use of existing technologies. In the meantime, it will carry out deep ploughing in the technology innovation, technology introduction and technology digestion. The company will have vertical expansion of business models, extending forward to high-end consultation and backward to operation and maintenance service to create new profit growth points.
